Found wifi!

Jambo! I found some wifi, so here is a quick update. Today has by far been my favorite thus far, it was right up my ally. Our morning was spent learning all about how sustainable agriculture is being implemented here at the STEMM center, involving both the crops and livestock.

This first picture was taken shortly after we had finished harvesting chickpeas, here we were beginning to weed some soybeans. Fun fact, they only spend about 10 to 15 minutes a week working in the fields/gardens. The sustainable practices implemented here are incredible, they are working very well!

This second picture was taken after learning about the variety of plants they feed the cattle here at the STEMM center. One of the plants fed is the leaves from a Moringa tree. These leaves are very high in protein and the cattle here are gaining more weight per pound than when they are fed any other grassy product. This particular breed comes from Pakistan and is known as the Sahiwal, they are a very docile breed that can handle the hot temperature here.

I cannot wait to share more about this incredible experience and just how God is working through us! Please continue to pray for our team here in Tanzania!
